Software, 3D-scanning and 3D-printing allowed to create shapesto take the Delvoye bronzes to a new era. I was leading the research and turned it into practical design solutions. By working closely together with companies like Materialise and Sirris (back then CRIF-WTCM) we could have access to tools previously only available to car manufacturers
This was a win-win as our applications we’re taking the techniques to their limits, both soft and hardware
