Together with artist Lies Caeyers the children of Minkowski were born as an inverse genetic natural selection process evolving 3D models. Being a virtual organism means generations take only milliseconds, and infinite mutations are possible. To aid the computer the artists function as a selection mechanism, ending certain branches and allowing others to breed on.
